Royal Mara - is a FANTASTIC small tented Camp on the River Mara - it only has 8 tents so make sure that you book early! The “tents” are absolutely out of this world, the best I have ever seen, just amazing, and surprisingly it is also incredibly reasonably priced. I just loved our stay here and wish it had been considerably longer than a fleeting overnight visit. For all the details you need, here is a fact sheet, and here is a link to their official website. Below are the lodge photos (for those viewing at work where photo sites are restricted!!) This really is an amazing place and has to be seen to be believed. Lying in bed and hearing the sounds of Africa, and the hippos in the river .......Bliss!! Sheer escapism and luxury - and that BED - you even needed a box to step on to get on to it!!
