Excursions from Mombasa

One Day Shimba Hills

Visit Shimba Hills Rainforest. See Different types of flora and Fauna in this ever green rainforest. Animals to be seen here include the rare Roan Antelope-Sable, Elephants, Buffaloes among others.

One Day Wasini Island

Visit the Wasini island, former slave caves and the Wasini Island national park. Snorkel in the crystal clear waters and have a wonderful view of the living coral gardens, the second largest in the world. Enjoy some sea food lunch.

One Day Funzi Island- Crocodile Canoe

Visit the Funzi Island, a lost paradise, do a mangrove tour with a canoe ride along the Ramisi River. See the Crocodiles, the Fish Eagle, Colobus monkeys in this isolated Island. Relax at the sand bar right in the middle of the ocean. Have a chance to see and swim with the dolphins..

Half Day Mombasa City Tour

Visit the14th Century City of Mombasa. Visit the Akamba Handcraft Carvers,  Hindu temple, Elephant Tusks - historic mark of Mombasa, Spice market, Fort Jesus and The Old town and Harbour

One Day Malindi Tour

Visit the coastal town of Malindi and Gedi ruins. You will also have an opportunity to see the historic Vasco Da Gama Pillar, visit and snorkle at Malindi Marine national park, walk through the busy Malindi fruits and vegetable market before enjoying swahili lunch in one of the sea side restaurants. En route back you will visit a giriama Village boma for traditional dance and culture talk.

Half Day Eco Tour.

An Ideal half day out where you meet and interact with the indigenous Kenyan people, see the Girirama Tin smith, the Village witch  doctor, local artisans weaving  mats, hats and baskets you will also have an opportunity to see a Girirama wine trapper climb a 60ft coconut tree to tap manazi( palm wine)
