Date: Fri, 8 Apr 2011 20:28:49 +0100 Shadrack May i take this opportunity to thank yourself and Shauri for the wonderful safari we had. Apart from the false start when i had forgot to change my phone time from UK to kenyan which made us oversleep on the first morning everything went like a dream. Also the very generous use of the phone for the duration of our holiday which made a difference. By the way at no point did we get a signal with Safari.com whilst in the parks but worked a dream back at Voyager. Shauri (my Rafiki) is a credit to you, and his knowledge and passion, not just for the safari but for the culture and the country is excellent as the amount of information he gave me was amazing, he has eyes like a hawk and spots things we could not see but he must admit on the final day it was Tina who spotted the cheetah and he praised her on her spotting skills, saying she could do his job??? The lodges were superb and Kilaguni was special as they put us into suite 5 which was amazing luxury if only for one night. (not enough) The celebration of Tina's birthday at Ashnil Aruba was great the whole team came out and presented her with an iced named cake and it was a pity we could not have saved it to bring home as we put it out for all to enjoy on the desert table. I will be sending Shauri some information on disc i have of wildlife programs off British TV care of yourself and also for both of you a selection of photos which i have said you can use for promotion purposes (you probably get sent loads) if you like but just give me a bit of credit for them if you use any. Finally i have a colleague who is coming out to Kenya for his 9th time around end of September. He is going to contact you ref safari. He is a good bloke so do your best for him as i think he usually goes to Masai Mara for his safari, as you can imagine as its his 9th time he is hooked now (as i am). We shall return and will no doubt be contacting you when we do. Also sorry nearly forgot thanks for the transfers from and to the airport with Aaron. give him and Shauri my best regards. From: Shadrack K. Kahindi [mailto:glorious-safaris@hotmail.com] Dear Nicky. We had a great time in Kenya and the safari was the highlight of our holiday. Patrick was very good at spotting the animals and we never felt rushed at all and Patrick would stop for us to see the animals as much as we wanted. Please can you pass on our thanks to Patrick. Graham and myself found the experience from the booking through to the end if the safari a very good one. We did see plenty of animals but missed the leopard, however, I guess that is just nature!. I have already placed a positive review on Trip Advisor and I have been contacted by someone who is travelling next week and wanted our opinion on Glorious. We did give them positive feedback. I understand how competitive it is in Kenya, I have been working in customer services for a number of years and managed many people in customer service, my experience of good service are the little things such as communicating efficiently, do what you say you will do, be punctual and professional and offer a good service. I couldn't fault Glorious as I felt it ticked all if my boxes of my expectations and I do have fairly high expectations. The positives for me were: We will be returning to Kenya again and we would like to do a longer safari to the Mara this time. It is likely to be next year, however, we will look to contact you nearer the time as providing prices are competitive, we would prefer to go with Glorious again. Thank you again, I hope our feedback is useful, I genuinely do not have any negative feedback about Glorious.I would recommend Glorious to anyone based on our experience. Take care, and best wishes Amanda and Graham |

Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2010 20:17:45 +0000 Jambo Shadrack Hope you and your family are ok and the weather is as GLORIOUS as your amazing country. We have eventually had all our 2000 photos developed which have strengthen our fantastic unforgettable memories. We would be very grateful if you could pass on our warmest thanks to our three superb drivers first Patrick who gave us the most amazing lion, elephant, giraffe, zebra etc (the list is endless) wildlife pictures in the vast Tsavo West. Then he took us on to Amboseli where as you promised our tents were right in front of Kilimanjaro which is absolutely stunning. Patricks evening game drive again produced many wildlife pictures and without doubt the most unforgettable African sunset over Amboseli amazing. Then there is Evans who is so funny and kept us thoroughly entertained with his Kenyan phrases and his attempt to teach us a few Swahili words on our way to another brilliant trip to Wasini Island . Last but not least is Sam and Shimba Hills where he took us on possibly the best walk ever to the stunning Sheldrick falls then onto Shimba Hills lodge for a excellent lunch and once again many superb photos We cannot stress to you enough how much we enjoyed our safaris with your excellent company and the memories which will stay with us forever.Hope to return soon to your amazing country and once again thank you. It would be nice if we could keep in touch. Look forward to hearing from you. Best Wishes Sue, Malc, Zoe & Molly |

From:Kevaudrey@aol.com I hope that you and Patrick are well. Our safari was better than we could have hoped for. We saw every animal on our "wish to see" list and got close views of the elusive trio....leopard, rhino and cheetah. Patrick really is an excellent driver and guide and I think he enjoyed his week with us. There were lots of high points on the safari, but I think the best one was when we were the first van to leave the Mara Serena early in the morning and we came upon a larger pride of lions. It was magical, with the sun just about rising there were 8 adults and 4 cubs playing on a small ridge. Three of the adults gradually got closer and closer until they were only 10 metres away. Then they started roaring, a deep throaty roar which vibrated their whole bodies. After a few minutes we got an even closer view when they got up and walked right in front of our van. Fantastic!!!!!, it's so incredible to see these magnificent animals up so close in their natural environment. The van was comfortable, but did take a bit of a battering from some of the roads. The road from Narok to the Mara is especially very poor and our bones have just about recovered from this. We were happy with the lodges that you selected and the food at each one was very good. The only accommodation that wasn't great was the Ngulia where the bathroom and bedroom could do with being refurbished, but as compensation the views from the bedroom, swimming pool and dining area were fantastic. We especially like the last 3 lodges, but our favourite, which probably doesn't come as any surprise was the Mara Serena. What fantastic views, great rooms, great swimming pool and excellent food. Our enjoyment of the safari experience was hugely enhanced by having Patrick as our guide/driver and we would like you to pass on our thanks and best wishes to him. And finally, many thanks to you for arranging the safari. As you may remember Dave and Lynda were very apprehensive and nervous about booking a safari other than with a mainstream UK tour operator. Every time that we see them they mention what a super experience the whole safari was.......they are even talking about maybe doing something similar in a few years time. Kevin |
